The Slow Coach
Bio: In August 2011, at the ripe old age of 38, I decided I was going to run the Comrades Marathon. That might seem fine to the majority of people, but to those who've known me for the pre-ripe old age of 38 years, this was the most absurd idea they'd ever heard. Needless to say, my mind was made up and I embarked on a journey which is chronicled here.
I am extremely proud of you, my dear friend!!
hey Brenda nice Blog!
Graham
thanks. My writing’s better than my running!
Wow Brenda. Your story gave me goosebumps and tears of joy! Well done and congrats! You are an inspiration! I am so happy for you xxx
Have just read your account of your 2O trail run and I am in tears. Ugly tears. The type where you laugh and then you cry silently with your face all crunched up, make-up running down your hot cheeks while your shoulders jig up and down and your colleagues think you’re having a stroke. Bravo!
Lol. I hope you feel better and that your colleagues understand! haha
